The most satisfying aspect of your work?: Facing the challenges of post surgical contact lens fitting- and getting it right!!!
I am lucky in our practice to have the support of an excellent contact lens techniciaan, and a wonderful ophthalmologist who does not like to fit contacts!!
What are your future goals in your profession?: I would like to continue to grow in knowledge and experience in specialty RGP fitting as the technology continues to get better and better.
I also would love to travel to Australia/New Zealand and meet all the awesome doctors that work with keratoconus and that have provided us with great research in the field!!!!
What advice would you give students entering your profession?: Be adventurous!!

How have your vision issues affected your life?: Luckily I have been blessed with excellent vision all my life- and will be in denial until it becomes a real necessity to do anything about the rapidly approaching presbyopia!!
I grew up with hard/RGP lenses, my family owned and operated a busy RGP manufacturing lab for many years, making me very comfortable with fitting and prescribing them in my career.
